The Ziyara Pilgrim app is included on every plan. It shows each pilgrim their own trip, straight from the data you already keep in the panel.
How pilgrims sign in
Under Agency Settings → Mobile App Login you find your Agency Code and the download link. A pilgrim signs in one of two ways:
- Passport number and agency code, typed in.
- A QR code, scanned from their contract. Switch on Include Mobile App Login Section in the contract template and every printed contract carries the pilgrim's code and the instructions.
Only pilgrims you have approved can sign in. Someone who has travelled with you more than once opens their current or next trip.
What a pilgrim sees
- a digital badge with their photo, QR code and your agency's contacts;
- the trip program day by day, as you entered it on the group;
- their hotels and room and their flights;
- your announcements;
- prayer times and Tawaf and Sa'i counters;
- an SOS button.
Nothing is typed twice: change a hotel or a flight in the panel and the app shows the new one.
The app contains no duas or religious rulings. Your guides teach those in line with your agency's approach; to send written guidance, publish it as an announcement.
Announcements and SOS
Write an announcement under Announcements, choose the group, and it appears in the app. The list shows which pilgrims have opened it. An announcement only reaches pilgrims who have installed the app and signed in, so check the read list before you rely on it for something urgent.
When a pilgrim presses SOS, the alert appears on every page of the panel with their position until someone acknowledges it. Acknowledge it so the pilgrim knows they have been seen, then resolve it once it is dealt with.
Before the departure
Add "app installed and signed in" to your pre-departure meeting, and help older pilgrims there rather than at the hotel. The sign-up confirmation page already points new pilgrims to the app.
